How to swap assets

Detailed temporary guide to quoting a swap, reading fees and slippage, and handling a failed swap.

Temporary guide. Rates, fees, and pairs depend on the network at the moment you swap.

On Home, tap Swap.

Build the quote

  1. Under From, pick the asset you are selling and type the amount.

  2. Under To, pick the asset you want. The quote fills in by itself.

  3. Scroll the quote details before you tap Swap:

    • Rate — example: 1 ETH = $2,748.22

    • Network fee — paid on-chain (example: 2.3 TRX)

    • Swap fee — example: 0.30%

    • Minimum received — the floor if the price moves

    • Slippage — example: 0.5%

    • Effective rate — rate after fees

  4. Tap Swap.

If minimum received looks worse than you can accept, lower the From amount or wait. Do not raise slippage unless you understand you may get a worse fill.

If it works


You see Swap completed and Assets are swapped in your wallet, with the two amounts, a truncated address, and View Etherscan. Tap Back to Wallet. Both balances on Home should update. Activity will show a swap row.

If it fails

The screen says Swap failed and Transaction failed due to [reason]. Do not tap Swap again with a larger amount until you know why it failed — common causes are slippage, a stale quote, or a missing network fee. Tap Back to Wallet or Get help. Check Activity, then contact the brand that issued the wallet with the reason and hash.
